BillSaver.com has been helping consumers lower their everyday household expenses since 1999. Due to its objective and unbiased ranking of providers of these different services, this free consumer resource website has been used by thousands of people to dramatically cut their monthly bills.

In 1999, the founders of BillSaver got tired of receiving constant telemarketing calls and endless junk mail about different long distance plans. We set out to develop a website that would independently and objectively rank all of the long distance providers. We developed an unbiased Savings Score system that constantly analyzes the 350 long distance plans and ranks the Top 10 plans with the lowest long distance rates. This long distance analysis was the first page developed by the BillSaver founders and has been rated as the number one long distance site by ConsumerSearch.com. BillZapper's Long Distance Rate Calculator also became the most comprehensive calculator on the Internet. Consumers simply plug in their specific long distance usage and instantly see a ranking of the top 25 plans in their area based on their personal calling pattern.

Shortly after the development of this long distance comparison, consumers asked our opinions of how to slash their other household expenses. Due to this demand, BillSaver developed the same type of independent comparison for credit cards. This site provides a comparison for the many different types of credit cards (low interest rate, secured, unsecured, reward, rebate) with little or no annual fees.

Comparisons of other everyday expenses followed and soon, BillSaver had provided consumers with free comparison sites for internet service, insurance, calling cards, home loans and wireless products.
